How do you celebrate seventeen?
*you ask your Mom a couple of weeks ahead of time for a birthday "advance" because you've been waiting years for the last book of the Inheritance series, and you seem to have spent all of your money.
*the neighbor knows of your deep love of Dublin Dr. Pepper and brings you a six-pack the night before your big day.
*you enjoy fresh donuts and chocolate milk for breakfast (that would be at 6:30 in the A.M.)
*you ride in style

*Grandma's pizza rolls
*trifle
*you skip your last class of the day, because you are really convincing and your Mom is a softie.
*you go shopping with your Mom (because she has been asking you for weeks what you want for your birthday and you can't decide)
*you go to dinner with your whole loving family (including grandma and grandpa who are visiting from out of town)!
*the waitress likes you and gives you two free giant birthday cookies
*you open presents
*you watch an episode of Psych
*you get asked to "Preference"!
*cheetos, peach-i-o-s, and more Dr. Pepper
*some of your friends come and whisk you away for the rest of the evening.
Sounds like a great birthday to me!
