Well, I received a call from the social worker this morning. She apologized for not being able to see us on Monday. She was able to finish our homestudy update(not sure how, since she didn't ask us a single question!) and is overnighting it to me today. (at least that) Fortunately nothing has changed for us in the past 18 months...but still, how does she know that? grr. So, I should be able to make an appointment with the USCIS office on Monday or Tuesday. Now let's just hope that the local USCIS can return our paperwork in a timely manner! We'll see!
