We are in the thick of summer fun.
Here are just a few things that have been happening around here:
*The Man finished the swing set. After two summers, it is finally a completed work.
*Lucie learned to pump herself on the swing!
*We've paddled canoes
*Lucie is becoming quite proficient at scooters and big bikes
*We've ridden horses in the mountains
*We've tried our hand at archery
*We've listened to grandmas, grandpas, great aunts, great uncles, and cousins tell stories about the old days.
*We've licked and addressed wedding invitation envelopes for some of our favorite cousins
*We've been swimming in at least four different pools
*We've been to scout camp
*We've shaken our booties at a family dance
*We've been to girl's camp
*The Lady's dream came true--she rode on the back of an elephant!!
*We bought a ski boat
*We participated in a four generation family olympics
*We held the second triennial EFT
*We've been to the outlet malls
*We've been to the dentist (would you call that fun?)
*We've had a paddle boat water fight on the lake
*We spent a day at the amusement park
*We went to a Rockies game in Denver
*We celebrated my parents' 50th wedding anniversary
*We've been to three family reunions (two to go!)
Lots more planned. Summer is flying by.

FUN FUN FUN... I love summer!
My Dad's extended family, my Mom's extended family, and my immediate family are the three reunions we have been to so far. Up and coming are my Father-in-laws extended family and my husband's immediate family. There you go--five. I guess it's a good thing my Mother-in-laws immediate family isn't doing one this year or we would have six!
Wow, that is a lot for one summer! And there's still some left!
