We have come to that point. We need some ideas. We are looking for a project for the Man to organize, to earn his BSA Eagle rank. Have you heard of any awesome ideas? Have you done one yourself? Any tips or advice? Anyone?
Our oldest planted 10 trees at his elementary school that were donated - or that he bought wholesale with funds donated by local businesses. Our second oldest did a food and supplies drive for a local charity house for kids. These were 8 and 6 years ago, respectively. Both were good projects but were done when the economy was much better - it might be harder now. Anyway, I really like the fact that we can see the trees and how much they have grown. Good Luck!
We have a lot of scouts do eagle projects at the library. talk to the volunteer scheduler. Also, I've been thinking he should volunteer their anyway. :) And Charles painted some parking rails at a park. Others have re-done the red curbs.
