My baby

Three or thirteen?? You decide!

I have done these little milestone posts in the past, but it has been a looong time. So, I thought I would do one now in honor of being three.

All About Lucie:

*She is mostly potty-trained. Except at night and when she is feeling lazy. Which makes her Mama crazy!
*She is a veritable chatter-box! She surprises us daily with her highly developed vocabulary.
*She still loves to fold clothes--particularly towels and washcloths
*She enjoys reading books-well mostly being read to. She hasn't really taken to reading them herself yet.
*She is really getting into the whole "pretend" scene.
*She LOVES LOVES LOVES to sing. Her favorites right now are all on the Primary Top Ten List. (I Am A Child of God, Book of Mormon stories, Once there was a Snowman, you get the idea)
*She is having a ball going to "school" and she always makes sure that Mama will be there to pick her up when she is done.
*She has done amazingly well the past few months with distancing herself from Mom. She even let her Mom and Dad get away for a weekend sans kids!!
*She is a puzzle maniac. I've never seen a kid with so many puzzles and she will make you go through all of them if you show even a shred of interest!
*Her favorite TV shows are Super Why and Clifford and Sesame Street.
*Her current favorite DVDs are Cinderella, Little Bill, Aladdin, and Scooby Doo.
*She is becoming quite the little artist. Her scribble blobs are beginning to take shape--they now have scribble eyeballs!
*She is one of those kids that will put a plastic bag over her head or wrap the blind cords around her neck when you aren't looking!! YIKES! This behavior is prone to give Mom heart attacks.
*She is starting to get into the whole "playing with friends" scene. Pretty fun.
*Like most kids these days, she can manipulate an i-phone like nobody's business.
*She wants to ride her bike really badly. Unfortunately she needs another inch or two in her legs!

My baby is definitely growing up. In fact, the only thing baby about her is the thumb sucking. And sadly we will be working on that soon!

She really is so sweet. I love having her in our little "preschool." Thank you for organizing it! It was so much fun to host last week!

How very grown-up she is getting. We need to come visit some more, so she get's to know Aunt B better.
