I'm quite behind on my posts, so forgive me for my tardiness. March fourteenth is known as pi day in the mathematical world. Get it? March 14th...3-14...as in 3.14 as in pi. The Man celebrated the occasion in his geometry class at school earlier in the week, because pi day landed on a Saturday this year. In honor of the day he and his friend invented their very own pie, and got together on pi day to create it. It was very delicious.
They haven't come up with an official name yet. I like to call it trifle pie...that is what it reminds me of. yum!
Start with a homemade chocolate chocolate chip cookie crust, pressed and baked in a pie pan. Let cool. Top with a layer of chocolate pudding. Sprinkle pudding with chunks of brownie and milky way bars. Spread a heaping layer of whipped cream on top of that. Garnish the pie with more chunks of milky way bars and drizzled melted chocolate. Refrigerate until set. Enjoy!
