What's new with Lu

It's been a while since I posted about some of Lucie's milestones and silly things she does...so here goes:

*She loves to play at the park (slides and swings and climby things). Although she is quite leery of other children and will wait for them to leave the area.
*She loves to sing (mostly Signing Time songs) and dance
*She's very good at somersaults and loves to jump and climb
*Her favorite game is hide and seek (two-three, two-three here I come!)
*I've heard her count to seventeen before but she's not very consistent yet.
*Her favorite shows are "Signing Time" and "Super Why"
*Her favorite movie is "Enchanted" and she likes to watch it best on Dad's blackberry (at least part of it almost everyday) She likes to imitate the chipmunk noises and sing along to the songs. Oh, and she says "eww" whenever anyone kisses.
*Her current favorite books are Curious George and Little Critter.
*She loves to read, do puzzles, build with blocks, play with her magnetic letters, and play with her baby doll.
*She still likes to be with Mom the most.
*She likes to sing and do the actions to the following songs: Once there was a Snowman, Monkeys jumping on the Bed, Monkeys Swinging in the Tree, Ring around the Rosie, and Wheels on the Bus.
*She likes to race the boys across the lawn and twirl around the lamp post.
*Her favorite colors are green and white.
*She knows the signs, names and sounds of the common animals (farm, household, and zoo).
*She can name and identify body parts.
*She is using verbal language to communicate now, but still signs to clarify what she is saying if need be.
*She eats most things. She doesn't like potatoes. She loves noodles. Still not sold on milk.
*She is talking in phrases and simple sentences. The other day she asked me "Is my toothbrush in the drawer?" But usually, it's phrases like "Thank you Daddy", or "I love you ", or "Hold you" (which means hold me please!)
*She has mastered the art of asking questions. "How are you?", "What happened?", "Can we go outside?"
*She is still a little peanut. I don't know her exact stats, but we go to the doctor in a couple of weeks.
*She is a whole lot of fun and she keeps us laughing everyday!

Ha! Dagny says that also! "Hold you!!!" means "Hold me". Getting those dang pronouns straight is so daunting.....
