La-dee Da-dee it's your birthday!

It's official. Yesterday was Lucie's birthday--she's two!! (She's been acting like she's two for a while now.) It seemed like she really understood the whole birthday thing. When she first woke up S-lady asked "Lucie, what's today?" and in her groggy state she signed happy birthday. I think she had a good day. It was pretty low key. She loved the concept of presents and cupcakes! She's still a little young for a "friends" party, but she took a couple of cupcakes to some of her little friends on our street, and today we are meeting a couple others at the park for a birthday play date. It should be fun.
