A Truly Great Accomplishment
Today Lucie went to Nursery. The stars were aligned. Usually she falls asleep, but today she was alert and awake. So we decided to give the nursery another try. I stayed with her the first hour and all was well. She actually ventured from my lap and played with the children and the toys. Then it was time for Relief Society and I told her that Mom needed to go to her class. Did she want to stay and play or come with Mom? She didn't really answer me, but kept playing with the kids. So I left. And she stayed. I didn't think it would last, but it did. An entire hour without Mom. Or Dad. Or the kids. No tears, no hysterics. This is unprecedented! This is progress.
