There is a big rumor vacuum out there. Absolutely nothing going around. This is not good. They say the agencies are so caught up in the new regulations that the CCAA announced a few weeks ago, that they just don't have any time to answer questions about this month's referrals. Hmph.
By the way, the new regs will not affect us. It becomes effective for all dossiers logged in after May 1st of 2007. We would still qualify under the new rules anyway. They have basically clamped down on weight and health issues, raised the financial bar, and narrowed the age gap. They have also tweeked the marriage requirements and stiffened the education requirements. Basically the ball is in their hands. They have plenty of families to choose from and they are trying to sift through them to decrease the wait time a little. I can't say as I blame them. Well, pray for a Christmas miracle-maybe those referrals will still come afterall.
