For those of you that need a visual. Here are some pictures of the new CCAA building. The pic of the office cubicles is called the "matching" room. This is the place where they match the babies with their families. The wall of files illustrates just why this process is taking so long! Each file on that shelf represents a family that is waiting and waiting and waiting. We basically have to wait until our file surfaces to the top. We are almost there. Currently there are only six weeks worth of files ahead of us! Now if only their input rate matched their output rate! Unfortunately it does not. So, six weeks equates to "who knows how long" of actual waiting time??
