Our journey

We decided it was time to get on the bandwagon and start up our blog. We are planning on using this blog to document our adoptive journey to our third child. We officially started this journey almost eighteen months ago as we sent in our application to an international adoption agency to be considered as adoptive parents to a little girl from China. Our application was approved, our paperwork was compiled and our homestudy was completed in about five months time. Our dossier was sent to China a year ago and now we patiently WAIT! (Or not so patiently as the case may be. ) We were initially told that the wait time would be around six months. As just mentioned we have been waiting for twelve months now and the end is not quite in sight. We are hopeful that it won't be much longer. So while we wait, we will chat about and celebrate all of the milestones along the way!
