When I told Lucie that today was New Year's Eve, she said..."Oh yum! Can I use chopsticks?"
In her mind there is only one New Year's Celebration. I had to explain that we weren't celebrating Chinese New Year just yet. But soon. Very soon. The official start of the Chinese New Year is January 23rd. Bring on the egg rolls!
We do have some fun plans for tonight. Food. Games. Family. And lots of confetti! That's our favorite part. We will be finding confetti for weeks to come I am sure. In the couch. Behind the couch. Under the couch. Behind the piano. On top of the ceiling fan.
