*my Mom and Dad are visiting from Mississippi!
*we have been making all kinds of pioneer clothing (2 dresses, 4 shirts, 4 pants, pantaloons, an apron, and a satchel) in anticipation of the pioneer trek next week
*it is the rainiest, coldest June that I can remember
*we have been working on the back yard during every dry moment
*we tore down our former garden and redistributed all of the dirt to make room for a play area
*we have built two large garden boxes along the fence
*we put in a permanent clothesline (I love it!)
*we are mostly finished with a play fort/swing set
*rain rain rain = weeds weeds weeds
*we have been sprucing up the back porch (repurposed and refinished furniture, outdoor rug, new chair cushions, etc)
*a quick family trip to Denver
*preoccupation with change in occupation
