Skip School Ski Day

The kids and their Dad had a great time on their ski day. Well, at least until lunch. Just before I arrived on the scene with sandwiches, chips, drinks, and cookies, The Lady took a nasty spill and injured her knee. She was beside herself. Not so much with pain, but with the realization that her ski day had just abruptly ended. It was just a minor sprain, but she was unable to put any weight on her left leg. That pretty much ruled out skiing despite all of the pouting and tears. It's been a couple of days and she is almost back to normal (physically and emotionally-thank heaven above!). The boys stayed and finished out the day. The girls returned home with me and took naps. They are all talking about going again soon. I guess she's not too afraid to "get back on the horse".
