"pumpin" carving

BOO!

It seems like every fall on the Monday before Halloween we carve our pumpkins for family night. This year was no exception. We harvested several pumpkins from our garden this year. They weren't as big as usual, but they seemed to work just fine.

We cut some and scooped some...

...and we colored some.

Daddy helped me with the cutting.

Bman and Slady carved some too.
(Although they aren't as cooperative at getting their pictures taken.)

Dad wanted to start a new tradition on pumpkin carving night...

the making and eating of pumpkin shaped sugar cookies.
That was Mom's job...Yum!
