Last week was safety week at S-lady's school. Her school was given a grant by our state department of transportation for a considerable amount of money. They did such a great job. They had amazing activities and prizes every day. Each child was given a new bike helmet and a water bottle. The week's activities culminated on Friday with a BMX bike show assembly. It was really something. One of the funnest assemblies I've ever been to at her school.
Here's S-lady with her class out on the blacktop.
These guys were really good and the kids LOVED it!
At one point in the program, they grabbed the principal.
And made her sit in a chair on top of the ramp.
AND JUMPED OVER HER!!
To top it all off, they gave away 75 brand new bikes!
You guessed it...S-lady won!!
She loves her new bike! (And she has some bumps and scrapes to prove it)
