One of the other things on our list was "street bowling". We have had the best time with this! We were able to buy some used bowling pins at a local alley for a great deal and they even threw in a free (although well used) ball. There is a perfect strip of asphalt in our cul-de-sac that makes a great lane. We brushed up on how to keep score and we were off!

What to do? What to do?
Whenever we get bored, we consult this list that we made at the beginning of the summer. Well, we have slowly been checking things off. I thought you might like to see some of the pictures. One of the first things that we did this summer was to sew blankets for the humanitarian center. Bman knew some basic sewing skills from Jr High. S-lady needed just a few little tips, and she was sewing like a pro. Thankfully we have two machines, so they could work on it together. Don't they look great? And the baby blankets turned out great too.
