It's hard to believe that Lucie is 16 months old today and that we have had her for six months now. Here's a rundown of some of the things she is currently doing:
*walks, runs, and climbs
*kisses and hugs
*attempts to jump (doesn't quite clear the floor)
*dances
*loves to go up and down the stairs and requires minimal supervision at this point
*loves to "swim" and splash in the bathtub and requires a great deal of supervision!
*LOVES to watch "signing time" and is learning many signs (Mom, Dad, please, thank you, book, who, where, cookie, eat, more, banana, milk, finished, and her all-time favorite "cheese"--just to name a few)
*is starting to talk--some of her favorite words are "up", "Mum", "Dad", "go", "no", and "hi"
*she is still transitioning to one nap a day (some days are better than others)
*she is still sleeping most of the time with Mom and Dad (prefers their big bed and definitely prefers to be right in the middle!)
*loves to read books. Her favorite is still "Big Little" by Leslie Patricelli
*her favorite songs are "eency weency spider", "popcorn popping", and "ring around the rosy"
*she is trying to use a spoon to feed herself
*her favorite foods are yogurt, spaghetti, ice, french fries, macaroni and cheese, RICE, gold fish, and anything sweet!
*she has a very fun sense of humor and often cracks everyone up including herself!
