12 month check-up

Today I took Lucie to the doctor for her 12 month well-baby check. She is doing great! She has grown one inch and gained one pound since our last visit. They gave her four more vaccinations (OUCH!) and gave us the go ahead to change her over to whole milk (WHOOPEE!) An interesting thing happened while we were there. Lucie squirmed down off of my lap, crawled across the room and climbed into the doctor's lap. She sat there for almost the whole time. Happy as could be. Unbelievable...especially for a kid who is leary of strangers, men, and doctors! (not necessarily in that order)
